BSN Hyper FX Review

Hyper-FX Pre Workout Review

While some pre-workout supplements put their main focus on pumps, others focus on pure energy, and some offer a wide range of benefits rather than highlighting a single aspect. BSN Hyper FX claims to be one of those amazing all-rounders.

It’s said to give you that much needed boost, but not too much so that you can still sleep at night. Its Creatine free and packs the power of fat burners and testosterone boosters so that your workout can really be taken to the max. Is BSN Hyper FX all that it’s set out to be? Read our review to find out for yourself.

The Good

Good mixability

BNS Hyper FX has a good mixability and leaves almost no residue behind. The one thing that you have to remember is that Hyper FX is meant to be stirred, and NOT shaken, unless off course you like fizz bombs all over the place.

Good enough ingredient profile

While we’ll say that we aren’t thrilled by the fact that BSN Hyper FX is totally made up out of a proprietary blend, we do have to hand it to the product for having some great core ingredients in that blend! Beta Alanine works for muscle strength and endurance while the D-Aspartic Acid will boost testosterone levels. Black Pepper works for thermogenesis and the caffeine is a main energy driver. It also packs Vitamin D and Niacin for extra energy plus it helps boost your immune system.

Good price point

Compared to most other pre-workout supplements, BSN Hyper FX comes in as one of the most affordable options out there. The price is really great for those of you looking for a Creatine-free, clean energy supplement without the dreaded “crash” effect afterwards.

The Bad

No pumps

BSN Hyper FX’s formula doesn’t contain anything for enhanced pumps. No nitric oxide ingredients means a lot of people will miss it, big time.

Taste

It seems like the very last thing that BSN cared about when they formulated Hyper FX was the taste. There’s nothing great to rant about. Aside from the horrible taste (peppery taste due to the black pepper in there), Hyper FX just doesn’t offer you the kind of energy you’d need for a good and proper workout.

The Verdict

If you’re looking for a pre-workout supplement that doesn’t contain Creatine and doesn’t come with the crash afterwards, BSN Hyper FX might just be your thing. That being said, you’ll have to be okay with stomaching the formula that doesn’t exactly sit up there with the other big contenders. Overall, we’d score BSN Hyper FX a solid 3 out of 5 stars. It’s not terrible, but it just didn’t blow us away.
